    much appreciated Nelviticus, I did play about with a screen centering tool in CCC, but moving the mouse undoes all those changes (really frustrating when you think you have nailed it!)

    Hi Nelviticus, Yeah the settings dialog box shows both screens as having 1280x1024 - I did check it to make sure, when I lower the resolution on the 2nd monitor the screen size changes accordingly, however the zoomed in thing prevails. it leads me to think that it is something in the OS...
