Hi, had a scenario today whereby I was unable to telnet in to a SQL server on port 1433 to test the connection from the client PC. Cant see Entire Domain to add Domain Account to Local Admin Group
Unbelievable - I appear to have solved it!! Tell me if i'm wrong or there is something else involved. Its because the client machines point to the router for DNS which inturn uses my ISP's DNS.
