I got the answer to this. our client was at the wrong patch level. upgraded to 5.1 MP5. restore worked fine.- billo101

I'm getting this same issue. we can restore other files to the exchange server but not the information stores. Any ideas ? unable to create object ..... a communications error has occured.- billo101
