    problem with self made cable

    I recently built some long cable(70ft) out of cheap cat5e bulk cable and rj45 head. Maybe the cable or head are too cheap, my connection is just not stable. The connected computer sometime just can go through router or reach other computer on the home network, even though the switch light is on...
