    BTW I've downloaded something that looks promising, XML Pro v2.01 ( http://www.vervet.com/products.php ), and when I double-click on the .jar file, I get what looks like a splash screen. But that's it - it just sits there, no CPU or disk activity. Can anyone else who's using this (under Linux)...

    Hi- we want to define a data file format for an internal software tool, and XML would appear to be a good way of doing this. Having defined the format, we want to edit the files. So I guess we need to define a DTD or schema, which the editor will use to guide users when editing the files...
