I checked with the DBA person who is also the default system administrator and he said that this MDTC component is not installed on the server. Does he have to install this component on the server or is there a component that I have to install on my machine or initialize some sort of service?
If I try to open Computers folder in Component Services,
I get a Catalog Error message box, saying
"Error Code 8004E00F - COM+ was unable to talk to
the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator
The event log may contain additional troubleshooting...
