    Back up job elapsed time

    For some reason AS2K SPAK4 is reporting the elapsed time for my job as 29211h 16m 24s. When in fact it took less than 60 seconds (just a test job). I know I have seen this problem in another thread on this forum but I cant find it again. Any advice?

    I get this message sometimes too. What I have found is that if I disable the tape drive in the hardware profile (so the windows drivers are not loaded) ArcServe seems happy.

    2000 professional and Server / external DNS

    I have had a similar problem. Our cannection to the external DNS of our ISP seems stable enough. Our problem is with the 2 other domains (trusted) we run. Rather than switch DNS servers we use the command ipconfig /registerdns and everything comes back. Any insight as to why this is happening?
