Vector from EPS file won't ungroup in illustrator
^^ true i would like to add that there is almost no point doing this as even simple images with more than one compound path will almost litteraly fall to pieces when you release the path. even if you release to layers from within the layers pallet. feel your pain though, had to do it more than...- AuToMoDuLaTeD

applying free distort to extruded shapes in Ai cs3. problem.
Hi, Hopefully the image will have attached properly. fig 1. is a shape i have created using "extrude and bevel" to apply perspective to it i used the "free distort" command but whether i expand appearence or flatten transparency it still renders as in fig 2. any ideas as to what i need to do...- AuToMoDuLaTeD
