    Thanks. That makes it work in IE and Firefox. Apple's Safari, at least version 3.1.1 on Windows, doesn't honor the font-size. - Richard P.S. I figured out (with a little googling around) that style="font-size:36; font-weight:bold;" gives both large size and bold characters.
