i have 2 hard drives with different rpm
Actually it is true that adding a 5400 RPM drive to an IDE system with a drive thats 7200 RPM will in fact slow the system down in varying degree's, but so will many other devices. i.e. CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Iomega IDE zip drives, LS120's the list is actually quite large.
