PPPS Or is it impossible to do a bare metal restore of the server that is actually running ArcServe using ArcServe itself. All the CA documentation seems to skirt around this issue, which I'm beginning to think is rather suspicious ... !- ergolargo

PS Surely Arcserve doesn't require an ED floppy drive!? PPS Is there any other way of setting up a backup of the Arcserve Backup server that will allow me to do a 'bare metal' restore? If so, maybe I can try that and side step this problem. It's very annoying though, you would think that...- ergolargo
