Hi All,
I have been trying to reapply SP1 on a couple of Windows 7 Pro boxes and get the message that Service Pack 1 is already installed. The machines came with SP1 installed and after some major issues with the OS, I just want to reinstall SP1. Has anyone done this?
Thanks in advance
Hi All,
I have a client running an incoming fax server using a Dialogic TR200 board. the problem is that everytime the server is restarted, the system corrupts and the fax system doesnt recognize the modems unless I reinstall Windows Server.
I have tried uninstalling the Dialogic software and...
My client installed b2evolution manually on their hosted site and I have to remove the installation but can't find any documentation on how to do it. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
Hmmm, not completely sure, but IMAP4 might do the trick. Otherwise, I would say use RPC HTTPS if you can, or if supported use VPN to logon to your Exchange server from home.

I've configured an Exchange 2003 single server with RPC HTTPS using a 3rd party Cert from Godaddy. I configured Outlook 2007 to connect via https, but can't seem to get into the server.
If I connect via VPN, all is well and RPCdiag shows that all services are connected via TCP/IP, but when...
My Windows Server 2008 Standard restarted itself yesterday morning after installing some "Automatic Updates" and couldn't come up after. Once I found out about there was an issue, it took me a while to get over there to fix whatever could be wrong, I finally arrive to my server attempting to...
Thanks to you all, it was a company merger that was small enough to add users via scripting and just copy their profiles after adding their workstations to the domain. I will definitely have to remember the DC trick though.
Thanks again for your great advice.
I have a situation where I need to move or migrate users from an SBS 2003 Domain to another Windows 2003 STD domain.
I have looked into ADMT, but ofcourse there is no trust ability in SBS.
Does anyone know any way of migrating these users or even backing up the users and restoring them to the...
You might also want to look at SBS 2003, alot more bang for your buck, IMHO, for a small network it should do the job you need being that TS is included.
Cheers
I had the chance to use Mail Foundry once, and wasn't too impressed with the product.
I agree with Zelandakh, some cloud based solutions get pretty expensive the more users you have. I like appliances for the control and flexibility that they offer, but they do sometimes cost bandwidth.
IMHO...
Zelandakh - Can you explain that one further please? - removed the Exchange IIS VDIR and recreated them(KB883380)
Applied Kerberos Authentication (KB215383)
TechyMcSe2k - I regret I don't have a membership to experts-exchange.com. I'll look into creating a membership tonight to look at the post...
Thanks Zelandakh,
I actually have several Outlook clients connecting to the server, including my own. I have also implemented the FBA/SSL directory fix.
Any other ideas?
Thanks again
OK, I can't understand what the heck has happened but this issue is killing me.
After moving my single Win 2k3 & Exchange 2k3 server to another location, no one can sync a Windows Mobile phone to the server. Every time we try, we get an 0x85010014 error.
I have tried to browse the OMA from the...
I have to add my vote to Barracuda. It really doesn't take much to configure and it blocks approx 95% of SPAM.
I have it running at 5 of my clients and the love it. Make sure you get any model from the 300 and up, the Exchange LDAP accellerator is awesome, not to mention the per user quarantine...
Thats what I thought. Being that I have patched the server, I still cant RDC via RWW with any Vista client, I have even tried it from my office with no joy.
Any other ideas?
Thanks again,
Edvin
I have a client that has an existing SBS2003 RC2, they just got a new Vista Ultimate laptop and can't use the terminal connection in RWW. Everytime we try to connect, a window pops open saying that VBScript:Remote Desktop Disconnected.
I have disabled the IE protected mode feature and still no...
