I tried to go down that path in the beginning but I could not find an updated version anywhere. All indications were that I had the latest for that model. Well thank you to all who have contributed. I have tried all the suggestions to no avail and I finally came to the conclusion I had suspected all along and that is that the router is f'ed up.
