well it was SELinux stopping asterisk from creating/sending/accessing the voicemail files so it works with SELinux on permissive helps when you find which log file to read /var/log/messages & /var/log/maillog- macchonmhaighe

Asterisk voicemail to email
I have an asterisk server running on fedora core 8 Also running sendmail I can send email to an external address using the mail command but do not get any voicemail notifications from asterisk Can any body point me to where the problem might be. Thanks- macchonmhaighe
