I am playing with the compatibility toolkit now, but am not very hopeful as it designed to help developers make their own apps compatible but since the greentree ActiveX control causing the crash is not ours (no source) and the vendor is out of business, the toolkit is not likely to help. Starting this thread in reference to closed thread779-1105887. We have a vb6 app that we still maintain and wanted to use this control, but ran afoul of the exact same issue reported by sparkyputerguy back in 2005. Just curious if he or anyone else watching this forum ever had any resolution...- bcashin
