Is this possible? I have an Epson TM-U220B with serial interface, but I need it to connect to Ethernet because it is a remote kitchen printer. Also, if I just can't do that, what type of cable do I need to make it a direct receipt printer from a Micros 3700 terminal. Thanks.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. It turns out that all of the printers do say receive buffer full when performing a self-test. After trading out printer locations, I have found that the trouble follows the printer (regardless of which cables are attached or printer id it is), so I think...

Thanks for the response. I opened up the back and the dip switches are set correctly according to the manual diagram, and also are set the same as the rest of our remote printers. The printer has been in use for a long time so I don't know where this problem suddenly came from.

Anyone know how to clear a full buffer for Micros 3700 using Epson remote printer? Our kitchen printer will only print intermittently and printer self-test says "receive buffer full".
