Sorry, I should have included that column B contains the fixed width for the field - so a simple cut and paste isn't that easy.- brettj

If I have an excel file with fields listed in a column, can I import them into access and pull the fields from the column or do I need to move the fields to a row first? I have left the box unchecked for using the "first row contains column headings" in access. I have over 100 fields...- brettj
