    OK so NO actually the 2005 does not have the ability to detect these settings. But the NIS 2008 presuming you have Windows XP or VISTA and the system resources to install (512 to 1G available) is actually a lot more efficient about the way it uses resources.

    I don't believe there is any way to disable this 2005 pop up. In newer versions of NAV, there are. BTW, I definitely recommend upgrading to a newer version if you have the operating system to support.
