SSL - WTX Launcher Agent

Hi, We are using WTX 8.1.0.3 and I am trying to configure the WTX Launcher Agent with SSL. I am finding that the WTX documentation is a "little thin" when it comes to explaining how to get SSL enabled. Our requirement is to have SSL enabled just up to the Launcher Agent. In other words...

    BAPI issue on WTX 8.1

Hi again Sneha, I'd then use the type designer to modify the response portion of the type tree from '~' to '/' so that it reflects the actual data being returned. cheers.

    BAPI issue on WTX 8.1

Hi Sneha, I have noticed that type trees generated by different versions of the product (even going from 8.1.0.2 to 8.1.0.3 for example in the case of SOAP based messages) are different. In general, don't get too worried about what type trees are being produced by different versions - they will...

    BAPI issue on WTX 8.1

Hi, The errors you are getting indicate that the data is in an unexpected format (you are no doubt aware of this already). If you enable tracing for the maps then you will obtain further information (perhaps you have done this as well?!). From your other post (and please see my reply) it would...

WTX 8.2: "Import BAPI" type tree creation not supported!?

The SAP BAPI Importer wizard is not usable within WTX 8.2. I have logged a PMR with IBM and they have confirmed that they can replicate the problem. Have rolled back to 8.1.0.3 because we rely on the BAPI import support. Thread closed.

    BAPI issue on WTX8.1

Hi, I am a relative WTX "newbie" (< 6 months) but have been quite happily using the BAPI importer to create type trees (using 8.1.0.2 with the SAP Pack 7.5). In my mind, if the type tree created by the BAPI importer specifies that the format -F~XXXXX~ZM00_BAPI_SVRS is required, then you will...

WTX 8.2: "Import BAPI" type tree creation not supported!?

OK, I've found the 'Import BAPI' option. It exists but not where you would immediately expect it to be. To get there you have to right click on an existing type tree and then select 'Import ... Transformation Extender ... SAP BAPI'. However, I have found the 'Import BAPI' wizard to be unusable...

WTX 8.2: "Import BAPI" type tree creation not supported!?

Hi, We have just upgraded to Websphere Transformation Extender version 8.2 and applied interim fix 01. We have also installed the WTX Pak for SAP 8.2. The eclipse based Design Studio does not contain support for the creation of type trees via an "Import BAPI" option. There are options for SAP...

    WTX Web Services Extender Pack

I'm currently using the Web Services Pack with Websphere Transformation Extender 8.1.0.2 on Windows. The WSDL support is fine in that you can create type trees from WSDLs. The SOAP adapter relies on the underlying HTTP adapter. So far it's all good news really.

    SAP BAPI - Packed Binary

Many thanks for your reply janhes. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I've since discovered that the problem was not with the WTX-SAP adapter itself. I should have been populating a different combination of BAPI fields to get the correct data into the desired target location within SAP...

    SAP BAPI - Packed Binary

Hi, I am using Websphere Transformation Extender 8.1.0.2 in conjunction with Websphere Transformation Extender Pack for SAP R/3 version 7.5(64). I have used the Importer Wizard of the Type Designer to create a type tree that represents a SAP BAPI. The type tree was automatically generated...
