Symantec Client Firewall - i've broken it :-(
Thanks, you're right - uninstall and reinstall was the way to go. Except that i've chickened out and managed to reverse all my changes, so am back where I was. All fixed. Think I'll leave it at that. Still got other partition problems, but working on those.- michelle76

Symantec Client Firewall - i've broken it :-(
Just partitioned my Win2000 hard drive, and I was *advised* to move my AllUsers/Application Data folder into the new partition. So i did that, made a couple of reg changes, and all seemed well.
