The unix box which hosts the website has these records. Do they look correct?
Name server records point to the unix box which is a different host name than the MS box.
3 (A) records
www.domain-name.com > unix box ip address
domain-name.com > unix box ip address
xxxxmail.domain-name.com > MS...
I've got a call in to the admin to make sure, but I do believe they are the same. I did a check of the ip address for the mx record and got the following.
SMTP - 25 220 server.xxx.org Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 6.0.3790.3959 ready at Fri, 19 Oct 2007 11:19:24 -0800
HTTP - 80...
Our office in on a MS Server and our website is hosted on apache server out of the office. They route our email to us.
