    DAS or SAN when you have a need for speed?

    Hi guys reading up endlessly on this but just want a definitive answer. Which is faster for disk acces DAS or SAN? I know there are other complications to this question i.e. iscsi and fibre but if all was ideal which would perform the best purley on disk i/o? Thanks in advance John
