    Thanks, That did the trick. I changed the MTU settings on both of the computers and now can RDP between the two.

    I think it is the switch that is the problem. I can remote into both Desktops from my office on a different network.

    When I bring up the rdp client and put in the IP of the machine I want to remote desktop into, It acts as if its trying to connect. The desktop pops up but the logon prompt never appears and then I get an error saying that the connection has been lost.
