InDesign will not place Word File
They are saving in Word 2003. And the file comes up as .doc extension. I'm absolutely puzzled about this. We have placed before using these computers, and over the summer break we suddenly have lost the ability to do so. Any other suggestions? I really would appreciate it.- yearlingb

Our writers use the PCs in the building to write their stories. We do page layout in InDesign CS2 (fully updated) on Macs. When we have a frame selected and want to Place the text saved as .doc on the network, the document is there with the correct file name, but we cannot select it to...- yearlingb
