this is the whole thing about..i dont want to purchase a domain name or create a webpage. i just want to share my files on the web(ip address) i used to use Xerver(free server program) that turned your pc into a server. that's what i wanna do with windows server. instead of typing a domain name...- rock4ever

how to use windows server 2003 for home...
i recently installed windows 2003 server(on a pc) and was wondering how i can make it public on the net. that is without getting a domain name. like i would just use my ip address. i dont see any point paying for an extra ip address just to share some files. so anybody an idea?- rock4ever
