Highlight bar over text scrolls above the text too. Why?
this DOES happen to all my fonts and with with my colleagues' InDesign CS2 software as well. I don't believe the fonts are bastardized. thanks. I tried everything you suggested and they seemed like good ideas, but no luck. I'll keep trying...- swimgirl

Highlight bar over text scrolls above the text too. Why?
Greetings: In Quark, the highlight over the text stays within the text box, which makes sense. But in InDesign, the highlight scrolls not only the text but an area above it too. In other words, the highlight is taller than the text and stretches out of the frame. Why, please, and can this be...- swimgirl

resizing text WITHOUT scaling the frame
Thank you apepp and jmgalvin! Interestingly, I had keyboard shortcutse set to Quark, but after I switched back to the DeFault, scaling the type (cmd+option+shift and > or <) worked fine!- swimgirl
