Start button item deletion
Update to anyone who cares, This issue was due to a program called PowerArchiver which when uninstalled removed the "compress to ... " items listed in the start up window.- mblues

Start button item deletion
Windows 2000 os on a Dell Inspiron 4000. When I right click on the Start Button a list of "compress to" items appear with the compress icon next to them. I am trying to delete these items from the menu but when I click on any one of the items the start window disappears and I'm back to...- mblues

SCO Open Desktop icons missing
When logged in the desktop did not have the icons displayed. Haven't been able to locate or determine how to re-display the icons. The server is running (users are able to access the required programs). May have to ultimately reboot but looking for an alternaative solution so as not to disrupt...- mblues
