    DNS console empty

    I have a single server as DC for a child domain. When I open the DNS Snap-in the entire console is empty. I've tried reinstalling the Admin. tools from the Admin pack to no avail. My goal is to demote the server & remove the trust for the child domain, but DCPROMO will not work b/c it cannot...
