    Noisy Maxtor Disk

    I have a Maxtor 6V200E0 hard disk of 250Gb and I cannot make it run at low rpm. In the morning it starts quietly but then as I begin surfing the internet it goes into higher rpm (noisy mode) and refuses to come down even after stopping all work and rebooting.
