My SANs have 2 fibre channels each (A and B) currently I am hooking up with only the A channel on each SAN to a Brocade switch and then hooking in with the nodes.
My question is, will the brocade recognize that the two channels are from the same device and just use the added bandwidth or will...
The issue was that with one form of the command to create the Oracle file the file goes to the internal storage on the server, which had only 7 gig available, even though the syntax used was supposed to go to the SAN. Changing hte format of the command corrected the issue.
I installed the switch and I can see both SANs with all hosts. I decided to just divie up the storage between the boxes instead of using zoning. Now, when I attempt to use Oracle ASM to address the disks from the two 32 bit servers it halts at 7 gigabytes when I try to create a larger file (in...
Thanks! Now I just need to track down the commands. I have a document from Brocade that talks about this but I don't remember if it has the actual commands.

1. Do I need management software to do this?
2. Can this be done manually through the user interface to the switch...
I have 2 Linux Hosts, and a NexStor CR8F array. The array has 2 channels, A and B with DB9 input and output connectors. If all I want to do is hook the two hosts to the array do I need to put a switch in or can I just connect Host 1 to channel A and Host 2 to channel B? I will be using RAW...
