Trying to understand this lock file issue
Sorry I wasn't more clear - I had one user test this for me, but not all. At this time, he was able create and delete a text file. I will ask the other 2 users to do the same. Although at this point, I'm not expecting a different result.- Colby299

I have checked the "Default Open Mode" setting and it is as it should be. Another user has tried creating and deleting a text file in the same directory, with no issues. Both yesterday afternoon and this morning my MDBs have been allowing multiple users without error, so I'm planning to try...- Colby299

I'm having the same issue, only sporadically. Are your users consistently having issues or is access being denied sporadically as well? I haven't been able to determine any rhyme or reason behind the inconsistency I'm seeing - yet! Currently, I don't have any permissions set up, so I don't...- Colby299
