    telnet and as400

    Telnet works great. I use it to access the AS400 all the time. To fix the problem with the function keys, download the 5250 telnet software from Mochasoft.

    BIOS Upgrade problem

    I did not install windows after upgrading the bios. The device manager shows the yellow circle with ! for the std. floppy disk controller. When I downloaded the bios upgrade, I stored it on the HDD but also put in on a floppy for the upgrade procedure. Thanks, Jim G

    Payne, I posted a very similar question on 8/24. There have been no responses, so I was pleased to see some suggestions to R1013's problem. Your solution to delete shelliconcache worked for me. It was simple and fast and worked!!! Thanks, Jim G

    Folder Icon Missing

    When I started my computer on Monday, the folder icons had all changed to True Type font icons. I have gone into files, view, edit file folders, change icons, but whatever icon I choose, it always reverts back to the TT icon. Does anyone have any idea what happened or what I should try next...

    Word 97 won't print from File/Print
