I've got a customer with Oracle 8.1.5 on windoze that's also got reports 6 (i think) running. I need some help understanding what it's going to take to move to a "New" Windows 2000 server. Any links to help me get going are appreciated.

In SQL 2000 is it possible to alter a UDT, such as varchar (10) to make it varchar (20)?

I used the wizard to create a report and it's made it about 20 inches and I can't seem to make it smaller. If I right click the report, properties the width is 20 inches and when I select anything smaller it just goes back to 20 inches. Why can't I make it smaller and how ???
