The heading pretty much sums it up. One User has items that are disappearing from his sent item box and when I use Exchange tools to track a message it finds nothing. Also, items that he had previously opened and then deleted (and left in his deleted box) are now showing (in the deleted box)...
Sorry to jump in this thread late but I am soon implementing (I am not a vendor) a prduct called replay by appassure software. Look 'em up. They do snap shot restores and failover serviceson a local machine you buy.
My eyes are really tired from reading and yet i haven't found an acceptable anser. How can I increase either the amount of lines or amount of characters viewed intially in the announcment section of the default home page?
I publish a public website but also now need to get an intranet up. Is there a way to change the port during instllation so it won't shut down my existing website on port 80?
Say there are six lines with or without periods.
If I wish to choose lines 1, 3 and 6 I left click and hold at the beginning of line 1 and choose. Then I press and hold the CTRL key, move and choose left click and hold to highlight line three and still holding the CTRL key repeat that for line...
The CTRL feature in Word is behaving...oddly. When you go to choose a line it will choose the whole sentence up to the period. Then, if you want a second line, it unchooses that first full sentence (no matter how many lines) and chooses the next full sentence you were going to choose just a line...
We've an Exchange Server 2003.
All users run Outlook 2003 on XP pro boxes BUT we all use Office 2000.
Autocorrect is not working correctly. Although the version installed is not SP3, I did install it on a testing unit so I could apply the MS hotfix that "fixes" the problem. Still not working...
IE 7 is not saving, nor is it prompting to save, any passwords. I do have the autocomplete and prompt checked and have lowered the security and added a particular website as trusted. Any ideas out there?
Thanks.

Administrative Assitant has access to bosses shared calendar. Boss has Palm Treo that uses ActiveSync to sync Outlook items.
Occaisionally calendar items will disappear. Rebooting the pc brings them back.
Any fixes out there?
Thanks ahead...
I've got a shared reservation calendar for a vehicle that accepts the times as a calendar item in outlook. Here's the rub - if one person goes and reserves it for,say from ten to twelve someone else can come in and block out that time from say 11:30 to whenever, creating an overlap of time...
I'm thinking this has something to do with my recently turning on recipient filtering which has a reduce A LOT of spam coming through but legit stuff is getting bounced.
Anyone know what this really means?
I've a user that has reached capacity on his distribution list. He wants to break it up into three. Is there any easy way to do that without having to resort to making the three new lists and then adding the individuals...individually?
Thanks
I've a user who is attached to her bosses mailbox. If she drills down to his calendar she sees his appointments. Then she will close Outlook, open it back up and there are other appointments in there as well. Close it back down, open it upon and some are missing again. Random, it's happening...
We're starting to run an intensive online program. I want to allow certain users more bandwidth for that application than others that might just be surfing. Anyone know of a good rule to apply?
Thanks,
Daniel
well that's the wierd thing. After the first time, and she had Mcaffee completely out of date, I redid her pc and put in AVG and free a-v out of Germany. Spybot SnD 1.4, A-Squared and the Microsoft one too. Kerio personal Firewall, and google toolbar popupblocker. Everything checked out from...
Friend of mine had some serious spyware, virus infections. I wiped the hardrive, installed fresh and new everything, brought it back down, she plugs it in to Versizon dsl and a day later she's back at poopsville. So she gave it back to me and a friend let her use a laptop. boom - she turned it...
I've got two users that ONLY use OWA via an Exchange 2000 box. About a month ago, if they clicked on one email to delete it, several, random ones, would also delete. Now it seems Many just disappear. They are not in the Deleted Items box either. Any chuckles on this one?
Thanks in advance.
