The machine died, they bought a new one and did not want to bother fixing this one .... A fellow worker looked at it and thought the motherboard was dead, He let me have it.... I have replaced the motherboard with a similar one. My guess is that those motherboards were made for PIIs at first...
Got new VRMs, quickly installed one, still doesn't work.... I will do more troubleshooting later (check dip switches ...)...
The new motherboard might need a bios update, don't have P2's for that matter ........

I am trying to bring back to life a PL3000 (it is my first time to work on that kind of system). The system died (have no details about how it happened), the board seemed dead (no beep codes) although the LEDs light up normaly :
