    Thanks for the reply. I can start a new project, save it, and create an exe. With the 'problem project', it has multiple forms with one as it's main form. It's the main one that's causing the crash. I don't have any idea of how to troubleshoot where the compile or save is dying. Recreating...

    I have an application that includes ripping tracks from CD's as part of it's functionality. More and more, I'm getting reports from owners of 'new' machines that their CD drives are not being recognized by the program. Nothing shows up in the combo box where the CD drives should be listed...
