i am in the same situation.
i need the latest client and avaya can't seem to find my install id so i can access the website. in the meantime i have clients that i have now moved to exchange 2010 and outlook 2010. i have read the version 5.00.41.112 now works in this combination but i need...
I tracked the problem down to the windows update for .net 3.5 spk1 that is a critical update from Microsoft for .net
It installs .net3.5 but it also updates .net 2.0 to spk2 installs .net 3.0 and .net 3.5
After I removed the .net 3.5 it does not roll back the remaining updates to the other .net...
it is on the rcc server.
just search for npviewer.exe and then i copy it out to a network location so when i have a workstation that needs it i just install it from the network.
ok,
no workstation updates need to be uninstalled. i just had to reinstall the npviewer that i have on the network from the rcc server and now it works on all the workstations.
i have to reinstall .net 2.0 for our call sweet call accounting software so i will let you know if that breaks it or...
hot on the trail now my friends.
i see the .net update updates all the components of .net2.o to .net 2.0spk2 and installs .net 3.0 spk2 so far i have uninstalled all the updated .net files and it is running now on the rcc server. now i just get the active x error on workstation runn the viewer...
it is as clean as any windows event viewer.
i can use the rccuser and my password to connect to the mysql database as well.
i can browse the tables and i ran the nortel dbutil to verify tables are not corrupt.

we have the same as you. we run a outbound call center and the thing you are looking for is call accounting software. the built in rcc really is just what it is. once you install and configure rcc to talk to your bcm it goes to the bcm and collects call data for the phones you have configured...
yes it is both. the bcm at office is on the public ip and i have port forward rules to the bcm for the udp ports needed and on the client side the router is dhcp and i have tried direct isp dhcp. and this seems correct because if i hang the client laptop directly on the net get dhcp from isp the...
