IGMP on a 4400 Switch?
Hiya, I have just got hold of a 4400 switch. I seem to be having problems with IGMP. I want to be able to stream some Radio Stations (from Satellite) using VLC on my local network at home, but I seem to be seeing Multicast traffic all over therplace. configuring a 4400 without console cable
I've just done exactly that with a Null modem cable. I also used MS HyperTerminal. The serial settings are stamped next to the console socket, 19200, N, 1 from memory. ALso works via a USB to serial adapter so it's a fairly straightforward procotol. Hope this helps. I was in the same boat...- brushhead

Menus in Windows XP Pro defaulting to classic view
