XP PRO WON'T INSTALL-IT LOOPS
XP install on a new 40MB western digital drive on a Athlon 1800 with 750MB memory, does this: 1. says format partition? I say do it with NTFS. 2. It then says loading files, then insert previous OS. I insert CD for Win2000. Then it says folder for UNKNOWN OS found, want to delete or replace. I...- stolGuy

PCMCIA ETHERNET WITH BAD INTERNAL CARD
On My Toshiba Satellite the internal ethernet connection quit ( I think due to a lightning strike). I bought a Netgear PCMCIA ethernet card and can't ping anything except the card. I have disabled the (bad) internal card. Is my only recourse to send the Toshiba in for service(2 weeks!) -
