    Thanks Comtechau, I'll have a look at Procomm, but what I'm looking for ideally is more like a "virtual modem", something which can sit in the background with no user interaction. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi, Does anyone know if a driver exists which allows information sent to a modem to be written to a file rather than transmitted? Something similar to PDF Writer redirecting printer output? Thanks.
