I installed new batteries in my Smart-UPS 900. I turn on the power switch on the back panel. I then switch this UPS on using the "TEST" button (with vertical line) on the front panel. Everything is fine at this point.
Now: when I switch off the UPS using the lower "O" button on on the UPS...
While preforming a new battery installation, some dummy (<--me) managed to cut into the flatwire 8-conductor ribbon running from the circuit board to the from panel led/control switch. It appears that I did this when closing the metal internal door that holds in the battery.
Does anyone know...
