Not something that can easily be explained here.... If you have a CD for the software browse the contents of the CD and click Advanced. It will bring up a window. From there it is self explanatory. Hope that helps. Or you can send it to me and I will re do it for a nominal fee.

Does anyone here have any experience with the system that Block Buster uses? They are some form of dumb terminal type system using a Hughes Satellite box to connect up the different stores. Let me know... I have a few questions...

Alohaspy works really well to. I have one of those systems in my area and it is great. He caught two bartenders inside of two months after putting the system in.

You can also run some audit reports and look for No Sales. Unless they are leaving the drawer hanging open that should be a red flag. The thing about catching theives is they are greedy and they will want to take more and more once they find it is easy. Run some sales reports for the same...
I have heard of people getting it running on VMware. I am relatively certain Radiant is going to recommend that as a configuration because of the added complexities. By that I mean for the end user....

EDC is going to run you roughly $100 per terminal if all you need is the software + labor to set it up. You also will have to make sure to get your dealer and your processor talking early on to iron out the details. They may or may not have some technical hoops to jump through depending on...
You would get the dreaded "Wrong Security Key" if the numbers were changed. You could try re-installing the hasp. If I were you I wouldn't take their word for it before you put your hands on it though. It sounds like the key is unplugged or partially. It is pretty rare for a key to bomb...
That is pretty scary dedicating one PC only to all of your kitchen printers. You would have to have a hell of a setup there to support 16 kitchen printers. Anyway, the ideal setup as you know is to split up the load between all printers so that in the even a terminal goes down then your...
Okay, I did my Casio training today. It is nothing at all like a GUI based POS software package and certainly has "nothing" to do with Microsoft. It is really tied in hard to old fashioned cash registers. If you are comfortable programming a cash register then you will be more than happy...
I thought this would be worth noting even though this is an old post. I use a product called Logmein.com. It works very well with minimal configuration allowing you to connect to your server from any web browser and print to the default local printer of any machine you happen to be sitting...
Quick fix if the ibercfg ends up being the problem is just copy the ibercfg from the terminal that works to the rest of the terminals. You will have to edit the file and make sure the SET TERM= variable is set to the correct terminal number but doing it this way is quick and dirty with no...
Company just informed me the other day we were going to start selling this thing. The one I was shown was the QT6000 or something like that. I was told it was eprom based and you loaded the info on it with flash cards, Doing some training at the end of the month. It doesn't look like it...
You are actually printing to printer groups and not printers. You are limited to how many printers you can put into a printer group. I really don't see a way around that.

Pretty simple. Run a cat 5 cable terminated just like a standard network run from a terminal to where you want the printer. Configure the terminal and com port you are running in the Aloha Manager under the hardware/printer maintenance. You will need a DB9/RJ45 Connector and a DB25/RJ45...
