Thanks for the reply Ray. Someone else has told me that Sun OS 10 can be configured to use ZFS, and if I do this then the limits speciified by Sun will not matter. Basically ZFS will allow me to use the 73gig HDD.
Can anyone confim if this is the case? I don't want to buy a bunch of HDD then...
I want to buy two Sun Servers, one is a Sun E450 the other a Sun V880. I would like to know if I can get away with Buying one StorEdge T3+ unit and connect it to both boxes at the same time???
The reason for this of course is so that they can both use the HDD Capacity on the StorEdge unit this...
I want to buy a Sun E450 Server to play around with. However, I need to know if it can take the newer 73gig Hard Disks or if I should stick with the old 36gig HDD's?
The server I have my eye on at the moment already has 2x18gig HDD's but I need at least 100gig in order to install my ERP...
