    Hard drive gone haywire

    I recently moved a bunch of photos from my internal hard drive to an external hard drive. In the process I freed up a couple gigs. Now my internal hard drive churns away--it's very very slow. I'm not sure why this happend I've tried defrag, chkdsk/f, disk cleanup but nothing seems to help...
