    cmv131 just copied the exe from the sps 2003 and cd it seems to have worked, so a big thank you for your help, first time i have posted and i get a result what a great forum.

    Hi cmv131 thanks for your suggestion, i should have said this in my original post, yes i have run the command in a dos window and it still returns with a \60\bin\stsadm.exe is not a valid win32 application, but thanks for replying anyway much appreciated.

    today we tried using the stsadm.exe only to be told that it is not a valid win32 application, could anyone please advise on this. Or would wss 2.0 need to be reinstalled, or would a repair fix. Thankyou in advance
