Assuming you have a field on frmLinkedTables that corresponds to the Record field on the main form, say RecordID , set the default value of RecordID on frmLinkedTables to =[Forms]![Main_Form]![RecordID]

I'm not really sure what you are asking but multiple users could be accessing the database at the same time and the data will be saved. However, multiple users can not access the same record at on time.
