so back to my original question i asked on another forum is:
when designing for print, how do i ensure that the document is print quality? ie. fonts, graphics, etc. and any formatting i have to make to the document to ensure a crisp clean quality, especially when designing logos.

now im really lost. i got advised that to have graphics (and the document/file) at least 300dpi. so how does this reflect on working on an indesign document?
