in fact i tryed to remove firmware eeprom from older motherboard and placed in newer. now it seems to be ok. the pc is on two days without falls it's possible this?- marsland76

Now the system seem to be OK, BUT after many time (40mins) the S.O. crash down and show the follow error: halted CPU 0 halt code = 7 machine check while in PAL mode PC = 19370 >>> Any ideas about?- marsland76

OK! i had have to: -set the auto_action HALT -set bootdef_dev dka0 -Initialize the sound with: isacfg -init add_sound init -add DE200-LE network interface with isacfg command: isacfg -slot 1 -dev 0 -mk -handle DE200-LE -irq0 5 - iobase0 300 -membase0 d0000 -memlen0 10000 -etyp 1...- marsland76

HI! I have an AlphaStation Digital 255 with Digital UNIX 4.0D I was need to change the motherboard and now the S.O. don't work. It stop in INIT: SINGLE-USER MODE Please help me- marsland76
