I have a client who acquired a site with an NEC SV8100 and currently has about 5 sites on IPOffice that he wants to be able to link to the NEC. I saw this post but it looked like they were doing it locally through a local trunk. Does anyone have any experience connecting these 2 types of...
I have a site where they insisted on the name of the person showing up when they transferred to an extn. The name wouldn't show up even though it was in the directory labeling, the only thing i could figure out was because it didn't have a phone and was configured on a digital port. I moved...
I'm not real sure to be honest with you, I have never had to deal with a Merlin II before this. We ended up just moving the cabling from the 2 important extensions in that range to the 30 range until we can replace it.
they are just wanting the system blanked out before it is shipped back to their warehouse. But like i said all i know is it is supposed to be a small-medium sized system. It could be from 1980 for all i know.

I have a merlin II system that everyime we try to transfer to an extn in the 2x range it goes to extn 22. this is happening on every phone, so its not a jammed 2 key. Any ideas? I believe this system was defaulted as i have to re-program everything the other day and is when this issue occurred.

From the manual:
"Remote access requires...
within manager click the tools menu and then extension renumber. add the appropriate amount to get the extensions you want. ie if you wanted 7000 as your first extn you would add 6779.
i have also experienced this. With some trial and error i think i figured it out. As far as i can tell you will have to add the time the file was started to the time it says. I.E. i had a file that was starting at 0538 so midnight was actually 0538. Yeah i don't know why it does this when it...
done that tommy :( i think i figured it out though. Waiting for the user to re setup their VM though to confirm. What i figure it was, was we had recently changed the extns to a 5 ring cover delay from a 3 and the transfer delay was still on 4, so i upped it to 6.
