Khalid I have 1 path to DS4x with 1 controller, and 1 vpath to 1 ds8k controller the original vg have 4 hdisk so what i have done it's to add 4 new hdisk extendvg mirrorvg splitvg -y vgprod -c 1 vgbackup now the vgprod have the disks from ds8k if I use that vg I could mount it etc etc If I... -

Hi guys, we have some trouble migrate from DS4500 to DS8k. How AIX 5.3 have 2 FC adapters I put 1 zone with DS4x disks (the old one), and 1 zone with DS8x new disks. I installed all rte packages on the server. All it's ok Now to migrate data I make this: extendvg -> vgds4x adding hdisk from DS8k...
